The water is crystal clear so you can see the sea bed. The most famous beach of Paros, Kolymbithres is an agglomeration of small beaches surrounded by huge blocks of granite modelled into strange shapes over centuries by the wind and sea. Spreading over three and a half kilometres, it offers key views of the island. Already in use during the Byzantine era (1000 AD), the path is paved by Parian marble. If you are a history fan looking for a nice hike, then you will enjoy the Byzantine Path trail from Prodromos to Lefkes. I soon discovered my passion for the Aegean Sea and, as years passed by, wandered around the island, learning all its secrets. I discovered Paros as a baby, walking my first steps in my old family home. Easily accessible by ferry from Athens, it is becoming an increasingly popular destination. Sitting in the heart of the Aegean, Paros is an island that captures the authentic charm of the Cyclades. Just around 10 minutes walk from Louridis :-)) We really can't imagine a better place when waking up in the morning, going out on the balkony, sitting in our hammock and having our morning coffee, together with this incredible view.A few hours away from famous Mykonos and Santorini, translucid water beaches and picturesque villages can be found in much less crowded scenery. Located at the corner of the main road of Paros Isl. We have never seen such a nice location before - it's for sure something special. If you want to go out at night, never miss music bar/club Golden Garden, which really has a unique flair. The food is fresh cooked daily and also varies daily - delicious! Also the prices are really, really fair. Just staring at the sea and have fun with the guys around - amacing :-)) Last but not least nobody should miss the excellent food they serve at the restaurant which also includes of course vegetarian stuff. And after your activities having a relaxing beer or cocktail at Rebel's Beach Bar. On the one hand you can do a lot of sporty activities and on the other hand you also can walk along the beach or doing for instance a trip to Pisso Livadi or Lefkes or just going for a swimm in the sea. You immediately feel comfortable and for sure you'll have everything you need for perfect holidays. Nikos & Amalia as well as their whole staff are really very nice and friendly guys who always try to fulfil all of your wishes you might have. Those are also the things which give this place a very special & personal note and that's also the way how this place is organiced. We like it very much, because if you look at the details (as usual), you will recognice, that all of the fotos and other handmade pictures which decorate the walls either inside the rooms or outside, are done by the guys who run this place. The rooms are simple but always well done. By now it is the 5th time we've been to Paros and it is the 4th time we stayed at Louridis - located directly at the beach. ![]()
